Taelis Felturn

Taelis is a young wood elf, the equivalent of a human in his late teens.  Sent to scout out the perimeter of the Rytiock’s Grove (Grove of Endoleth).  He distrusts the party, and questions their intentions.  He’s slightly injured when they meet.

When asked about his injury, he bristles, but not at the party.  He turns his head back to the woods and grumbles.  He tells a story of the straggling survivors of the Battle of Restinu, minions of the Dark Queen, skulking through the forest.  He and his brother, Amrynn, thought to surprise the interlopers and attacked from above.. then one of the Umber Hulks came stomping through.  Always the protective older brother, Amrynn took the hulking carapaced creature head on, but in an attempt at delivering the killing blow, one of its claws grabs him and severs his body in half.

Emboldened by the death of his brother, Taelis went on a rampage, dispatching the gigantic bug and the smaller intruders, but not without taking a deep gash in his chest from a dark elf who got away.  Though the pain in his eyes is apparent, he shows no outward grief and his voice is unwavering.

Taelis escorts the God Bearers to the Grove of Endoleth and introduces them to Elana Runegaze.

When the God Bearers leave Endoleth, Taelis is force to escort them out of the grove and is trapped outside. Bitsy leaves Ash in the care of Taelis (or the opposite).
