When Thessil finished his prized world, he called upon his brother Markin to share its beauty and boast about his masterpiece. Things, however, did not go as planned. Markin, whose brilliance and fiery radiance shone a light on Hyfaer, also unveiled its imperfections. Thus borne the rivalry of the Gods of Shadow and Dawn.

Markin’s followers, also known as Markinians, find hope and revelry in the light of the sun. With each new day, more opportunities are provided for his people to excel. The oldest and most popular of the followings, Markinians make up the majority of major cities’ inhabitants with an abundance of all races.
