Daughters of Nyriam

One of Thessil’s youngest siblings and a staunch supporter of her brother’s dominance in Hyfaer, Nyriam is known by her followers as “Her Darkness” and “The Spider Queen”. When Thessil placed her in Hyfaer, she ferried the few followers of Thessil across the mountains and deep into the holes of the Southern mountains of the Spine. There she cared for “her children” waiting for the time to reclaim Hyfaer.

Followers of Nyriam refer to themselves as her “daughters”, even the males who worship the Spider Queen, although it is a society of female dominance. Young males are seen mostly seen as fodder for battle, or a means to produce more females. A very few males are selected to lead the others, known as the Dark Vassals. Her female followers however remain hidden within Heretic’s Respite, ruling the society with a vicious guile, waiting for their turn to rule the surface.
